interRAI Fellow and Secretary Shannon L. Stewart Appointed to the Royal Society of Canada

interRAI is proud to announce that Dr. Shannon L. Stewart, interRAI Fellow and Secretary, has been appointed to the Royal Society of Canada (RSC)’s 2026 Class of Fellows and College Members. 159 distinguished scholars, artists, and scientists from across Canada to receive this honour.
One hundred and five (105) individuals have been elected Fellows of the RSC, Canada’s highest honour in the arts, humanities, social sciences, and sciences.
Fifty-four (54) individuals have been elected to the College of New Scholars, Artists and Scientists (RSC College). These mid-career leaders are recognized for their expertise, innovation, and contributions to addressing complex challenges and advancing emerging fields across disciplines.
Dr. Stewart is an internationally renowned professor and psychologist within the Faculty of Education at Western University. She is a Canadian Academy of Health Sciences Fellow and Associate Scientist at the Children’s Health Research Institute. Dr. Stewart is known for her ground-breaking global contributions related to the development of the interRAI Child and Youth assessment-to-intervention system designed to improve outcomes for vulnerable children and youth across the continuum of care.
